5) Turns into potassium nitrite releasing oxygen
6) In continuous heat turns into burnt potash
7) Highly soluble in water, liquid ammonia and glycerin
8) Insoluble in anhydrous alcohol and diethyl ether
9) Can not deliquesce in air
